I'm so glad you are here. Finding a therapist can be intimidating. I get it. This is a big, beautiful step you are taking. I want you to know that I value you as a life-survivalist. Though it was painful, you have made it. You are a survivor. Life can be incredibly difficult. I would love the opportunity to create a safe space with you so that you may grow and evolve at your own pace in an environment where you are seen, heard, and accepted.

As a therapist, I am deeply passionate about working with individual adults from all walks of life. I am particularly drawn to those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and complex trauma. I assist individuals who are currently navigating traumatic experiences and major life transitions such as divorce, death, religious abuse, interpersonal abuse, and the unraveling of childhood trauma. Additionally, I value self-empowerment; the discovery of power within oneself.

My therapeutic approach is fundamentally built upon relationship through psychodynamic theory. I utilize the following counseling approaches: Psychodynamic, mindfulness, trauma-informed therapy, as I am certified in TF-CBT, and internal family systems, also known as "parts work" therapy. Those are all fancy words to say this - I believe that healthy relationships, especially the one with ourselves, has the power to bring healing and growth.

I work with individuals ages 16+ on anxiety, depression, religious/spiritual abuse, interpersonal abuse, and complex/childhood trauma. I specialize in trauma therapy, specifically concerning shame, guilt, identity confusion, self-discovery, and empowerment. I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and have a passion for the psychodynamic approach. Additionally, I incorporate Internal Family Systems or “parts work” into my practice.
